You have a 12v, 80w panel (about 6amps), charging a 220 a*h battery bank. If you use this daily, you can only discharge about 30 AH (at 12v) in order to recharge fully the next day (assume 5 hours usable sunlight x 6 amps).
This is why your batteries have lasted as long as they have (only a 15% DOD).
However, if you convert into ac 120v, then you only have about less than 3 AH to play with, and I would assume that your home requires a tad more than that to run (refrigerator, air conditioner, etc.), thus “completely” is somewhat misleading.
